In the realm where gentle hearts convene,
Ebony wings like silken sheen,
Black Cupid stirs the night serene,
To weave a love that’s pure and keen.
Amidst the throngs of yearning souls,
Through cityscapes and countryside strolls,
Whispers of affections roll,
As arrow aims for another's whole.
"Somebody might want you," he declares,
With a twinkle in his eye that pairs,
As you wish upon the stars' flares,
Another's heart might echo your prayers.
Grown-ups with dreams, bold and bright,
Grasp at love with all their might,
For they understand life’s flight,
Is sweeter shared, in love's light.
Children chase what lies in sight,
Simple joys their hearts ignite,
Yet Cupid knows, come day or night,
True love’s gift is worth the fight.
Lovers hand in hand, a view so grand,
With friends by sides, together they stand.
Through warm embrace in love's command,
They greet the day that’s at hand.
Oh hey, it's FriYay Eve, they cheer,
Hearts entwined without fear,
As Black Cupid draws near,
To celebrate love, so sincere.
