Hero

In the heart of the city, under the bright neon glow,

Lives a hero unlike any you know.

A black man, mighty, with powers so fine,

He heals the ghetto, one block at a time.

His cape is a hoodie, his mask a bright smile,

Through streets and the alleys, he strides in style.

No need for a bat sign, no call in the night,

Just the beat of his heart, guiding him right.

With a wink and a nod, he starts on his quest,

To mend broken dreams, and give the streets rest.

He touches the ground, and flowers grow,

Where once was despair, now hope’s in tow.

His laughter, a melody, that thaws the cold,

His strength not just brawn, but of spirit bold.

He speaks, and kids listen, taken under his wing,

Teaching life's not about the bling, but the joy you bring.

He battles not with fists, but with words profound,

In the ghetto’s silence, his voice the only sound.

Racism and hate, he fights with grace,

In his world, love wins the race.

"Poverty, be gone!" he shouts, with might,

"Education, health, and love, take flight!"

Piece by piece, brick by brick,

His powers heal, incredibly quick.

So here's to our hero, in his tireless fight,

Turning darkest days to brightest light.

The Ghetto Healer, with hope as his tool,

Showing us all, kindness is the ultimate cool.
