In lands where chill winds fiercely blow,
Where winter's garb lays thick with snow,
My kin stand strong against the gust,
The great improvisers, in whom I trust.
With cheeks kissed by the frosty air,
They find the warmth in moments rare,
Bundle up, they weather the storm,
In unity, they're ever warm.
Stay warm, they whisper to one soul and next,
With mittens clutched, no spirit vexed,
Through blizzards fierce and ice slick roads,
Their resilience in abundance shows.
Drive slow, with caution in the white,
Guiding wheels through the silent night,
Each flake a dance, a wild display,
Yet they press on, come what may.
Oh, have a great day, they chant with glee,
Despite the cold, as free as free,
For what is weather but a state,
Against their wills, it finds stalemate.
So hail the great improvers, hear!
With hearts so bold, and smiles sincere,
For though the world may turn to white,
Together, they're the warmth, the light.
